My Personal Results Weight Loss Journey

We always tell you about other people and the success they’ve had with Results Weight Loss. I think it’s important for you to know that many of our employees have also had great success with their own weight loss on our program. That includes me, so here’s my story.

About a year ago, I realized it was time to do something about my weight. I'd always been accustomed to living an active lifestyle – playing tennis, swimming, walking – anything outdoors. But then, in 2009, my doctor told me that I needed a hip surgery to correct damage caused by a sports injury. After the operation, I was sidelined from my normal exercise activity, which caused me to gain some unwanted pounds and to have to go on high blood pressure and digestive medications.

Earlier this year, as I was looking through some photos from an annual charity tennis tournament that I play in, I realized just how much weight I had gained. (See my before and photos above). That was my breakthrough moment—I decided something had to be done. So, I enrolled myself as a Results Weight Loss client—not to mention, as President, I wanted to experience what it was like to be one of our clients.

Like all clients, I took the DNA test which diagnosed my genetic type as a Carb Reducer. From there, my personal weight loss coach developed an eating plan matched to my DNA and taught me how to eat real foods to lose weight.

One thing I really love about our program is that I didn’t have to focus on exercise. I just continued with some moderate activity that was already a part of my life.

Today, the results I have achieved are nothing short of what I hope (and expect) for every client who walks through the doors of one of our centers: I reached my goal weight in less than a year’s time. I lost 25 pounds and nearly 20 inches. I’m off all medications, and I went from a size 12 all the way down to a size 6! To quote one of our clients, “I’m high school skinny, again.”

I'm now in the maintenance phase of my program and feel proud of my accomplishments. Most importantly, I’m proud to be part of a solution that can work for so many people out there struggling with their weight.

How Do Carb Blockers and Fat Blockers Help Me Lose Weight?

At Results Weight Loss, we offer a variety of dietary supplements that assist our clients in maximizing their results. Carb Blockers

Advanced Carbohydrate Blockers, better known to our clients as "Carb Blocker," helps you lose weight by interfering with your body’s ability to absorb carbohydrates. Because the carbohydrates are prevented from being absorbed, they will instead simply pass through the body. Research has shown Carb Blockers inhibit somewhere in the range of 30-100 grams of carbs from being absorbed, with most averaging between 30-45 grams of carbohydrates. Each gram of carbs is equal to about four calories.

For optimum benefits, Carb Blockers are taken three times per day, 10 minutes before eating a snack or meal with carbohydrates or before drinking an alcoholic beverage.

Fat Blockers

Chitosan, the primary ingredient in Results Weight Loss Fat Blockers, works by binding with dietary fat and effectively inhibiting the absorption of fats in the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, once Fat Blocker's ingredients get into your system, they block the fat you eat from attaching to your body. It is recommended that Fat Blockers be taken twice per day before meals with the highest fat content.
